   Molly Duckett is a girl who just wants to fit in. Now Molly is missing. After being the only witness to a hit and run accident, the troubled thirteen year old hasn't been seen since. Liz Stone and the Dewledge Connecticut police must sort through this confusing case and bring Molly home. Some believe Molly is a run-away, but Liz and her partner Sophie aren't so sure. Could Molly's disappearance be connected to the hit and run case, or does the much older crowd that Molly has been hanging out with have something to do with it?

 

  Balancing life as a single mother to five year old Rosie, and being the Chief of Police in the small town isn't easy.  When Liz's daughter starts kindergarden, Liz is torn between being there for her daughter and solving the disappearance of someone else's  daughter. She is determined to do both.
